Hi everyone!

As time goes bye and the Project is getting larger, there is a point when it is hardly manageable by one person only.
To provide good software and new releases within a short time, I need help.

I am looking for:

- Developer: AddOn
- Developer/Designer: Templates
- Developer: Core
- Developer: Database (AdoDB KnowHow would be great)
- People writing some new Wiki articles
- Translators for BIGACE and Wiki/Website

Developer
I need help with extending BIGACE. There are so many great features that could be added, but two hands are just not enough...

AddOn
We need more extensions, probably connected with Core features.
What do people look for, when deciding for a CMS? For usability, price ... and for available AddOns. This is a very important point and we need to have more of them.
There is a big PHP API that make life easier when writing BIGACE extensions.
Templates
But not only AddOns, also new Smarty TAGs and Templates are required! A good designer or someone with interest in Webdesign - one could probably "just" migrate existing OSWD Templates to BIGACE (as I did a couple of times)...
There are a lot of helpful Smarty TAGs already, that make life easier when writing BIGACE Templates.
Core
Want to join the CORE Team? You should be experienced with Software development, use PHP since a couple of years and have fun when wrinting good and reusable code.
Database
If you have experience with the AdoDB Framework and would like to help making BIGACE compatible with this great DB Abstraction Layer, I would be happy to receive your message.
First steps are already done, a BIGACE DB Driver is existing since 2.0 and the installation already uses the AdoDB XML Schema.
The Core driver is not activated by default, cause there are still some remaining code parts (SQL) that are not fully compatible with the AdoDB integration. I need help finding and fixing them.
What else?
If you would like to help in any way, for example in Web Design, Testing, Bugfixing, Integration of new WYSIWYG Editors, developing Admin Interfaces, whatever you like to do, I would be very happy to get help 

Documentation - Wiki
The documentation is one of the most important points in the project! As long as people do not know how to use BIGACE or to customize it, they will probably look for another CMS. There are so many people out there, who only want to use the Software, without having to search the Forum and/or ask for Help, we have to care about them! - and us, not answering the same questions on and on 
I'd searched for a good way of providing up-to-date information and for now, the best way is to link to the Wiki Manual, to let people the chance to participate.

Translators BIGACE
To make people all around the world able to use the System, we need more translations. Currently, there is only German, English and Dutch (nor fully 2.4 compatible) available. I also need help in designing a Administration translation AddOn.

Translators Wiki & Website
Not only the software needs to be translated, but the Website and Wiki as well, to provide information for all non-english speaking BIGACE user.

I like BigAce, and would like spent some time on it, but have same time issue as all other.

Currently I looking into making a Portlet for News.

My knowledge is somehow wide from MS systems.
    Database, PHP, ASP, OOA&P, DBA

My strong weakness is CSS and lasyout. (Sorry guys)

If there is a task I can help with, msg me, and I will see if I can help

Ask me about time issues, I am always moving the release of 2.5 because of university tasks...
Well, actually there are a lot of tasks you could help with. But I need a couple of weeks (4-5) to sort things out before starting to coordinate anything else than my papers and exams

I am starting my own business/company as well, so there is plenty of stuff to do beside university and bigace... time is rare...

Every help is absolutely appreciated and I am happy that you like bigace so much that you would help to improve it.

I can create an initial package for you, which you can extract and then directly start to translate. Please create a new thread in the Translations forum http://forum.bigace.de/translations/ where we will go on with the discussion.
