not tat i know of. but you could easily take the image gallery and change the output to use one of the many free slideshow javascripts.

I wuold love to see that! Best way is to implement it as modul, not as part of the template.
That way you can assign it to any page or even show it wherever you want (moduls can be loaded on demand from within the template).
