Adding to the Wiki

Hi Kevin,

This is something I can actually help with.
I like the Wiki and I have obtained a wiki password so I can start contributing.

As a new user (and a novice) I am sure I will have lots of questions, so I will be sure to document all the answers that I get in the forums.

In my work life, I am a Product Manager with a long career of writing technical documentation, specifications, and requirements.

I notice that some wiki sections are in German, even with the EN flag selected. I don't speak German, but some of my friends do. Do you mind if I ask a friend to translate it for me and then update it in the wiki?

Hi Legolad,

as mentioned often here in the forum (you might not have read it yet ) I totally appreciate any help from the community.
Its a great offer, as I know that free time is a luxury ... yes, I would like to get your help with documentation.

Some of the older german documentations might be outdated, so it might be wiser to find these pages first and let me have a look at it to see how relevant it still is (either send me link in a personal message or create a new topic here in the documentation forum).

I am always willing to create new documentation - I just need to be pushed or asked for it - its always the same with documentation, isn't it

Also, help from a native speaker would improve the documentation a lot. I am aware that my english (even if its not that bad) is sometimes a bit hard to understand, because I just don't know how to express something in english...

However, you are welcome to apply any changes to the wiki and if you have ideas how to improve it in general (new structure, better crosslinking...) lets discuss it.

Hello again.

I am making good progress I think. I had to update my host to PHP 5.

I have updated some of the installation instructions and added some more information about installing for multiple web sites. You may wish to review it in case I got something wrong.

I have also taken some new screenshots. No I need to figure out how to upload these so they can be used in the wiki.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the journey ;-)

During Installation, I did not get a License screen. Did it move to a new place during install?

Yeah, it moved to /dev/null/

The license screen was completely removed.

I'll have a look at the wiki now (the wiki editor should have an image-popup-dialog where you can upload new ones).

I see. I might have seen that pop-up, but when I pointed it at an image, I could not find any kind of button to click (OK or Upload or something). Maybe I was too sleepy :-O
