When it comes to creating multilingual websites, Bigace is the best I've comes across. The only problem is only a handful of languages are available for Web designers. I think we need to find a way to get more people involved in this regard. What can the community do to get more translators onboard?

Which is a damn good question! I believe one of tghe problems (which I can't solve) is the amount of translations. There are many things to translate in the backend...

In general you can say that it has become easier to translate Bigace in v3 (which is in work) as the amount of files was reduced and the translation keys were consolidated (many duplicates were removed).

Some time ago I started with an online tool, so people could register and change some translations, but that was never finished as I had not enough time. One v3 is out, I will look in that again.

I would appreciate any help in finding translators. If you have a good idea let me know!

I think the description of Bigace on http://opensourcecms.com needs to be updated. The best features - how easy it is to create multilingual content - for example, is not even listed. You can't be shy about blowing your horn.
