Hello,
for being more flexible i.e. in changing domain names directories etc.
it would be nice, if there was some way that bigace generated links (as in the menu)
would be relative and not absolute with all the domain name and subdirectory.
If it would be relative I could use url rewriting in such a way that i.e. the subdirectory
/bigace is stripped out.
Is there some solution?

Thanks for the great CMS.

Hi Phil,

the generated links depend on the Host/Community where you run Bigace.
They are absolute, but if you move to a new server, they change automatically to the new domain.

You could actually patch a file, to change the behaviour (system/classes/util/LinkHelper), but I am not sure if I would recommend that.

If that doesn't work or you have something different in mind, let me know.

Cheers

thanks!
well I did /*HACK!!! . _CID_DIR_PATH */
first this seems to work, although this
is not so funny at updating...
but on the other hand - up to now - I don't
see a problem, do you'?
maybe I find a url rewriting solution...

best wishes
