If you click on the yellow folder to add, edit or delete
a categorie (screen name edit categories) than there is
no 'back' button.

If you click on a categorie name (root) than there is the
back button (overview) but if you click it you wont get
the categories list but your website instead.

Gtx,

You can click the folder icon again to go up one level.

But I will add a "back" button as well, which is more obvious to use.

You could do me a favour and replace the file /system/admin/plugins/categoryAdmin.php with the attached version and give me feedback if this could be a solution.

* categoryAdmin.php (13.71 KB - downloaded 287 times.)

I will have a look at it tonight, I have the same problem
by adding new menus considering the 'back button'.

The fix doesn't work unfortunately, all   " <- Overview " buttons have
this problem.

Oh, I overlooked the problem with the redirection to your website instead of the correct admin menu.
Which browser and OS are you using?

I could reproduce the problem only on systems with deactivated rewriting.
Ok, should work now. You do not use url rewriting?!

The fix from the first file I uploaded first was the new breadcrumb menu, to step through the categories tree quickly.
Does that work at your site?

Yesterday I activated rewriting and it works great, I checked the back button
and it works now with rewriting on Smiley

I will have a look at the breadcrumb.

Thanks a lot Kevin or should I say danke schon ? Wink
