explanation:

If i create a new page and mark it hidden...
(i use the funktion "hidden" when i dont wanna show the public that page)
it wont show up in menus Smiley
but it shows in "last edited page" ...i dont want it to show anyware until ready for "release"

Even if i use Workflow the page shows trough "last edited page"

good point, i have to think about that one. question is: why is this page released with permissions for anonymous users...
one should be able to set at least permissions for anonymous users when creating a page.

according to your point: a page should have some kind of additional "state" information like "in progress", "in workflow", "released" (and probably more). then pages need to be "released" and "unhidden" before they show up somewhere. "in progress" is a state which is only possible when a page is created, after first publishing it, you won't be able to reach this state again.
hm, what do you think? i was just thinking out loud, if you have ideas let me know!

I think page state sounds like a good idea.

Also,
I believe menu items would only be visible if there is content on the page (or state released..). But that's maybe just my opinion.
Now, also pages with no content are shown.

sometimes you dont use content on a page: for example if you use a module (ContactMail, Fotogallery etc)
But it could check if DisplayContent is the selected module Smiley

Well, also if you have a page in two languages and only one language has content, the other language shows that contant as fallback.
Otherwise you would see an empty page...
I know a couple of pages where this fallback feature is used.

But beside that, the "state" is a good point, I am thinking about a solution for 2.6 or 2.7.

Hm, I retested that. On my system hidden pages do not appear in "Last edited items", they only come up when they are set to be "visible".
Can you restest?
