Hi, i started translating in Italian the english language pack, i already downloaded the english zip file and followed the instructions. I also added the italian flag downloading the flag pack as mentioned in your tutorial. Actually translation is quite easy to understand, anyway there is a question i'd like to ask, what am i supposed to write in the header of each translation file? ; Translation file for: User Group Administration ; Locale: en ; ; Copyright (C) Kevin Papst. ; ; For further information go to http://www.bigace.de/; ; @version $Id: groupAdmin.properties,v 1.4 2009/08/21 10:48:47 kpapst Exp $ ; @author Kevin Papst ; @package bigace.translation ; Thanks for help, i keep translating. I guess that by the end of this week i shall present it to the community. Cheers, Fabrizio

Hi Fabrizio,
thanks for your help and effort - I really appreciate it!
To be consistent, it would be great if you just replace "Kevin Papst" in both places with your full name (or a nickname if you don't want your real name there.
I am really happy about your contribution, every new language is a great boost for the Bigace usage throughout the web community!
Best wishes Kevin

Hi Kevin, actually i needed it so much that it was worth translating myself instead of waiting for someone else doing it, and releasing to the community it's just normal to me. I attached the same stuff that ftheuke attached to a previous reply to my topic.
Great work and look forward to test rel. 3.0 as well!!!
When do you think the translation will be available for the community? Have a great day, and keep doing this incredible project.
Bye,
Fabrizio Lazzeretti

Thanks a lot, I will create a package during this week. I will write a news entry for it and give you the credits (let me know if you don't want that!). I would also add a link to your homepage/twitter account or something similar if you send me these address(es).
Regards Kevin

Oh, thanks for the hint. The language itself should be installed as extension, but I will add it to the default installer as well. So people can chosse italian during installation.
Probably I will create installer with pre-installed languages later - but not before 3.0. I will post an update as soon as I added everything properly.

Finally done, I can release the package this evening. I will publish a new Bigace version then as well, including several new languages within the installer - including italian. Thank you so much! And I will come back when translations for 3.0 are getting more urgent

Hi. I'm new to bigace.
I downloaded the latest version of bigace and the Italian translation. Now the italian flag appears. But when I click on the flag, the right column in the default theme disappears except for the search form; and there is no italian text.
Italian translation is very important for me - it's the only language I plan to use. What can I do to solve the problem?
